Kansas City - Ironhorse (golf course) rides again in Leawood, Kansas

To those who love the game of golf will have the chance to play again at the opening of the renovated Ironhorse Golf Course in mid May this year.  On Friday, May 9^th, the practice areas, driving range & clubhouse had reopened!  It’s been closed now for almost a year and a half while the renovations have taken place at the golf course in Leawood and clubhouse! The golf course was in need of reworking the greens, creek beds, and more. You’ll find many of the greens are now more challenging.  They have been rebuilt to the US Golf Association specifications, which will now have more break to one direction or another.  So that 5 or 6 foot putt now won’t be as easy as it once was!  The clubhouse too has gone through some changes also!  It’s all the talk about the course opening soon.  Hopefully the precipitation will cooperate soon for that grand opening too!!  We all feel like we’ve had web feet this year!  Quack
