Staging your Overland Park Home for sale

When staging your home for sale in Kansas City area, one of the most important thing is to look at your home as a buyer would.  That's not always an easy task for the home seller. I ask my seller to step thru their front door as a guest.  It's amazing the different perspective they have. Most of us enter our home thru the garage door and really never think much more it.  Your front door is the first impression the buyer has of your home.  As the buyers are awaiting to enter, they are taking those few moments to really look at the entrance,  the landscaping, the neighborhood.  As the old saying goes; the first impression is a lasting impression.  So take the time to really polish up the front. Clean the glass, make sure the handle is clean & operating easily. Touch up paint on the door, the threshold and jams.  Of course, have a new front mat, the landscaping manicured & any extra color via plantings or wreath.
